Know Your Enemy Video
The first video from Green Day’s newest album 21st Century Breakdown set to be released on May 15 has hit the tube. “Know Your Enemy,” Green Days first single off the album, is, according to Rolling Stone “a straight forward rock & roll call to arms, a plea for revolution.” The video itself has heralded comparisons to Nine Inch Nails “Survivalism” including the band performing on a rooftop ominously watched by surveillance cameras, satellites and helicopters. Check out the video below, complete with a sick view of Mike Dirnt’s guitar. And if the grand nature is any indication of the Green Day Tour 2009, you might want to grab yourself some Green Day tickets as soon as they go on sale- it’s going to be huge!

Finally, dates for the Green Day 2009 tour have been announced and Green Day tickets will go on sale soon! After a a full three years of working on the may-anticipated release of 21st Century Breakdown, Green Day is breaking their tour hiatus for a summer Green Day tour in 2009! Green Day recently released their debut track, “Know Your Enemy” off the album to warm reception and will start a week long residency on “Last Call with Carson Daly” in June. So check out the Green Day schedule folks and mark your calenders because you’ll want to be the first in line when Green Day tickets finally go on sale!
Green Day Surprise Concerts
Green Day concerts have been popping up all over California for the past two weeks as Green Day tickets have gone on sale for “unscheduled” dates at venues like Fox Theatre and The Uptown Club. Lucky Green Day fans who visited their site on the dates of the shows were able to snatch up Green Day tickets.
In the wake of these pop-up shows, Green Day released the first single off their yet-to-be-released album 21st Century Breakdown called “Know Your Enemy”. This could mean that the band is inching toward releasing the full Green Day tour schedule very soon.
